- Start the VMWare Tools Installation:
- After you Confirmed the Installation the Media Containing the VMWare Tools Media should Load:
- Drag the VMWare Tools Archive on the Desktop:
- Double-Click on the Archive to Decompress it:
- Extract into /tmp Folder:
- Loading the Media Containing the Mageia Distribution:
- Open a Terminal (Here Konsole:) Command Window: Often a Linux System Presents Multiples Kernels so you will Need to Know What Kernel Version you are Using.
- Take-Note of your Kernel Version:
uname -rs
- Install Prerequisite Packages:
su
urpmi gcc
urpmi kernel-devel

Mageia Repositories SetUp - VMWare Tools Installation:
- Access the Target Directory
cd /tmp/vmware*
- Execute Installation Script
./vmware-install.pl
Follow to Accept All the Default Proposed Settings...In Case you Got "is not a valid path" for linux-headers Look:
- Access the Target Directory
- Finally to Enable VMWare Tools without Logout
/usr/bin/vmware-user
